About Me

Hi, I'm Leni and welcome to my website.  Hopefully you find yourself here because you are in need of a beautiful bespoke Wedding or Celebration Cake for your forthcoming special occasion.  With over 19 years of cake making experience, I specialise in creating beautiful, individual cakes to suit both your theme and taste.  I offer a range of mouth-watering flavours from traditional Vanilla to the ever popular Cherry Bakewell.  I don't have a particular style, I work with you, the customer to design each cake.

People often ask how I got into Cake making and the answer is.. boredom!  I worked full-time and wanted a hobby so signed up to night classes at the local college.  Once people knew I could make cakes, they started asking me to make them.  In 2007, my husband bought me the domain name of Cakes by Leni for Christmas and here I am.  I am now a full-time cake maker and we recently moved into a bigger house because I had outgrown cake making in our dining kitchen and needed my own space.
